Making a Contract With Us

  • When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy goods.
  • We'll confirm the receipt of your order via email.
  • We'll review your order and send another email to confirm acceptance and the formation of a contract between us.
  • If the goods are unavailable or we made a pricing mistake, we reserve the right to cancel the order, we'll inform you, and there won't be a contract.
  • If our system detects any possible signs of fraudulent behaviour, we reserve the right to cancel the order with no further dialogue

Product Information

  • Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Your goods may differ slightly from the images and may require assembly where applicable.
  • The displayed packaging may not be the one delivered.
  • Products will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the goods.
  • As long as the product is as described, we are unable to accept returns or refunds based on packaging changing.
  • We aim to accurately display product colors, but monitor variations may affect perception.
  • All information provided is approximate and in good faith.

Placing an Order

  • Use our website to select and add products to your basket.
  • Remove unwanted items from your basket as needed.
  • You can also order by phone on 01773 252052.
  • Carriage charges will be shown before placing your order.
  • Payment can be made securely with Visa, Mastercard, Delta/Connect, or PayPal.
  • Promotional prices apply only within the stated period.
  • Prices are in UK pounds and include VAT where applicable.
  • Once an order has been placed, it may not be possible to make changes and this is at the discretion of our team.

Delivery and Carriage Charges

  • Goods are usually dispatched from our warehouse within 2-5 working days.
  • Delivery is typically within 1-2 working days after dispatch.
  • Deliveries are made between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • A signature/photo is required upon delivery.
  • Neither we or our courier are not responsible for loss or damage if you request unattended or 'leave safe' delivery.
  • Any 'leave safe' requests must be made via our office and not through APC
  • Some of our items are heavy and deliveries are made to a ground floor entrance only.
  • You must inform us of special delivery requirements when placing your order.
  • Disposal of packaging materials is your responsibility.
  • After two failed delivery attempts, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
  • You are responsible for re-arranging your failed delivery and you can do this at apccalled.com
  • If the goods are returned to us through failed delivery, additional charges will apply for re-delivery
  • You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address including the correct postcode
  • Changing the delivery address after dispatch may incur extra charges.
  • In certain circumstances beyond our control, we may face obstacles in delivering your goods as originally planned. These circumstances include accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, or supplier defaults. We will make every effort to resolve these issues promptly, but we cannot be held responsible for delays or failures in delivery arising from such situations.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by a Director of the Company, time is not considered essential in the contract.

Shelf Life & Best Before Dates

  • Our goods are intended for immediate consumption/use, and we can provide the current best-before dates on any of our products upon request.
  • Please contact our customer service team to check the best before dates if specific shelf lives are important to you before placing an order.
  • While we restock weekly, our availability is dependent on the manufacturers who supply us.
  • The products picked for you will be the best dates currently available in our warehouse
  • We are unable to accept returns or provide refunds if the shelf life meets our own guaranteed standards.
    • Our guaranteed shelf lives are as follows:
    • Crisps: 2 weeks +
    • Confectionery & biscuit lines: 6 weeks +
    • Milk products: 1 month +
    • Tea, coffee & vending lines: 2 months + 
  • Typically, our shelf lives are much longer than this, and our team can provide the current best before dates before you order.
  • For example, crisps can have shelf lives ranging from 2 to 10 weeks depending on the flavor.
  • We understand that many customers purchase products for hotels and air b&b's. Our team may suggest alternative products with longer shelf lives if needed. 
  • If a product has a short shelf life or is past its best before date, it may be offered at a discounted rate on our website with the best before date clearly displayed. Please note that no refunds or returns are available for such products.


Returns and Cancellations

Consumers Only

  • You can cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods.
  • Notify us by email or in writing.
  • You are responsible for returning the goods within 14 days, at your expense.
  • Goods must be adequately packaged and returned in their original condition.
  • We are unable to accept partial returns, for example, you are unable to return 8 out of 10 bags.
  • Free products provided must also be returned.
  • Failure to return goods may result in collection fees.
  • Take reasonable care of the goods; damage may result in a charge.
  • Postage costs are not reimbursed, except for faulty or damaged goods.
  • If the goods have already been dispatched and not yet delivered, we will deduct a return postage fee.
  • Refunds, including original postage, will be issued within 30 days, minus any applicable costs.
  • We reserve the right to charge a 5% cancellation fee, as a merchant we are charged this to cover the cost of processing your payments.
  • All food and beverage products are excluded from this policy.
  • This does not affect your legal rights.

Business Customers

  • Orders may not be canceled at any stage without mutual agreement and written confirmation.
  • Returns are not accepted for food or drink products.
  • Cancellations are subject to a 5% merchant fee.
  • Return goods within 7 days, at your expense, with proper packaging.
  • All goods must be returned, including free products.
  • Failure to return goods may result in collection fees.
  • Take reasonable care of the goods; damage may result in a charge.
  • Postage costs are not reimbursed, except for faulty or damaged goods.
  • Refunds, including original postage, will be issued within 30 days, minus a 10% restocking fee.

Trademarks and Copyrights

  • Reproduction of any website materials without written permission is prohibited.

Faulty and Damaged Goods

  • Notify us of any problems with the goods via email or in writing.
  • We must be notified within 48 hours of delivery of any faulty, damaged or missing goods. We are unable to look into matters beyond this unless goods later develop a fault. 
  • Provide details and we may ask for digital photographs of the issue.
  • We will address the matter according to your legal rights.
  • Goods are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, in addition to your statutory rights.
  • Replacement goods will be arranged without charge upon return of the original goods.
  • Return postage costs are your responsibility, reimbursed for faulty goods once inspected.
  • We aim to replace defective goods promptly; refunds are available if necessary.
  • Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.
  • Please be aware that during periods of hot weather, any chocolate or confectionery items shipped are at the customer's own risk. We cannot be held liable for any damage to products caused by heat while they are in courier vans.

Discounts and Gift Codes

  • We may issue discount or gift codes, these are always subject to withdrawal or restriction.
  • Offer codes are applied at the cart page and cannot be combined.
  • Minimum purchase price requirements may apply.
  • Discount codes have no cash alternative, are non-transferable, and non-refundable.

Liability and Use of Website

  • Our products comply with relevant UK legislation.
  • We do not accept liability for indirect losses or loss of profit.
  • We strive for correctness, but do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of website material.
  • We aim for 24/7 website availability but cannot be held liable for downtime.
  • Use the website for personal purposes and seek permission for republishing.
  • Copyright and intellectual property rights belong to us or our licensors.

Law and Jurisdiction

  • This Legal Notice is governed by English law.
  • Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
